My favorite auto insurance commercial is when the lady is in the car putting on her make-up, talking on the phone, and I think drinking coffee. She’s in the fourth lane of a major highway and all of sudden she’s like, “Oh, there’s my exit. ” And she cuts off the people in the 3 lanes so she could get off at her exit. It was hilarious to watch.
the oldsmobile that was used in this commercial was my brothers!!! his dad bought it brand new!! it used to be tan, but they painted it black. it was held up by him and my bro till he sold it about 1-1/2 years ago when allstate bought it to shoot this commercial. it was an awesome car. used to take on camaros, mustangs, vettes, and anything else anyone threw at it. it was a sweet 11 second car. too bad they wrecked it. i wanted it. rip cutty!
Sick commercial, but the other Allstate commercial using the Marina Towers makes more sense; showing the filming of the “Hunter”-like part of the chase and the guy being distracted and rear ending a Jeep.

See French Connection II or the Steve McQueen film ‘Hunter’ for more car chases using this location.
