Thanks!
I had to redo it after Miami Beach; salt water pulls dye RIGHT out of hair.

Yes I do. Like I told them.. Unique but not ‘over the top’. I’m sure you CAN be over the top, but strategically unwise. And I love the hair

I don’t really know.
According to the rules, Progressive will pick a Top Ten, which hopefully i will be in, and then voting will begin on March 5th. From the voting, a Top Three will be chosen…I don’t know what happens after that.

@BionicDance So you should be! Good luck!
I’d sign up and vote but it seems you need to be an American :p

There’s a link–heck, a big honkin’ graphics box, really–down at the bottom of the main page of the comic.

Oh the irony. My aunt has been trying to convince me to use Facebook.
Well, I suppose I have a good reason now. Where do I find the page?

You on Facebook? There’s a page for the comic on Facebook; I use it kinna like “director commentary” for the most part.

I think you’re right about that.
If society was different, and not so uptight about religion and sexual orientation, it might not matter. But alas!
OT; where can one comment about your webcomic? I SO want to give comments on that. Great stuff!

Hey, i was mostly just being self-deprecating. I love self deprecating humor…I’m just not any good at it.
Anyway, people are gonna be voting on these vids; much as I hate to say it, being an atheist lesbian would probably count against me in any vote. Heh.

This is the second atheist woman I’m subscribed to to post a video today about their “ugly” appearance (Rebecca Watson from Skeptic’s Guide being the other). What the hell?
PS: You should mention you’re an atheist lesbian… now THAT’s progressive.

That submission had crappy camera work and horrible sound, and it was an ad lib. Your humor, creativity, and voice is what would get you commercial – or dare I say TV work. Plus, I thought you were cute, although your eyes were smaller than I imagined. People pitch themselves all the time. What could you loose? You could have fun making a video and practicing your animation skills. What is the worse they could do, ignore it?

Might not be a horrible idea…though I’d better check the rules to see if you’re allowed more than one submission…

May I suggest that you create a video for Progressive. Write a script, get a friend to play Flo, and try to get insurance for your space ship. If they like it, they might make a commercial mixing a live action Flo with your animation.

Just saw your audition video, it was nice. But for now I’m going to disagree with the “butt ugly mug” statement.
Believe me, i’ve seen far worse on youtube and around my neck of the woods.
If anything they should at least choose you for your voice, it is indeed unique.

I know the feeling. I’ve tried everything from reading the magazines to listening to my CDs to take my mind off the trip.
Wish I had new friends like that. *sigh*
Sunny here too. 52 in the shade.

The flight was…a flight. Mostly miserable; I hate having to sit so long with nothing but my iPod to entertain me.
But, interestingly, I ended up on the same connecting flight from Denver as two of my Seattle friends, and they gave me a lift home, which was awesome.
It’s sunny here; haven’t been outside yet to check on cold.
